What a rifle |

These are one of the best investments you'll ever make. They are excellent shooters and very well made from wood and metal not plastic. Archer also stocks all the parts you could ever need (enough to build a new rifle)plus mod parts for the enthusiast like me who like to work on guns. The design is simple and functional which makes this gun easy to repair or modify if you so desire. I have tried the mods Archer offers and they will boost your velocity by at least 120 f.p.s. I own two of these rifles (2078) and three QB 78 deluxe rifles and have fired thousands of rounds through them and never had a problem with any of them. Accuracy is very good, from a bench rest I can easily hit bottle caps and small spinner targets at twenty yards every time. Archer is a great company to deal with and I reccomend them highly for any of your airgun shooting needs.

New Air Rifle |

Must say I am extremely pleased with my new rifle. Just as accurate as my good target rifle. Nice trigger and the extended bolt works great. CO2 usage is minimal thanks to the hammer de-bounce device. Couldn't be happier.

This is a very impressive pellet rifle.Great trigger pull.Accuracy was very nice with three different brands of pellets.So far I've tried JSB Exact Match,RWS R-10,and Beeman coated hollowpoints.I was using iron sights.If I had a scope on the rifle I could have just about put the pellets thru the same hole.Very happy that I bought it.

I was not sure this gun would shoot tight groups. but I was wrong! This is a very good rifle with a match grade trigger and good balance. I was also very impressed with the quality of the workmanship .This gun should last for many years. I use it to pratice my off hand shooting during the winter.
Archer Airguns has done a good job on the rifle with their Gold service.
