This is the very rare "competition" version of the AR2079A, featuring claimed superior accuracy and sidelever cocking (instead of operation by bolt handle).

2.5-ounce Daisy Avanti tank about 150 (re-fillable)
88g AirSource tank (adapter required) about 220 (single use)
3.5-ounce paintball tank about 240 (re-fillable)
9-ounce paintball tank about 630 (re-fillable)

The pull length of the gun can easily be increased by adding the Archer Airguns AR2078A Buttstock Extension Kit.

PLEASE READ. The AR2079B works with paintball tanks having a maximum outside diameter of 2.000 inches. All recent 9-oz and 3.5-oz tanks are normally 2-inches in nominal diameter, but can actually be larger in actual diameter - particularly if they are of alloy construction. If the tank is larger than 2.000 inches in outside diameter, it may not fit the gun without the use of the Archer Airguns QB79 Tank Adapter (see QB79 Parts Page). NOTE, the AR2079B is not compatible with the Archer Airguns XP Tune Kit.
