Archer Airguns

Modern 9-ounce CO2 paintball tanks have a larger diameter than is allowed-for in the design of the QB79 and AR2079. This causes the tank to contact the barrel, thus impairing accuracy. This Archer Airguns adapter overcomes that problem.

The adapter simply screws into the existing QB79 Tank Block and provides increased clearance, allowing all 9-ounce paintball tanks to be used with QB79 and AR2079 air rifles. Now you can achieve the full potential of the QB79 design and achieve hundreds of shots per fill with a 9-oz CO2 tank, yet still retain accuracy due to the available barrel clearance.

This QB79 Adapter is supplied complete with a locking setscrew that can be used to hold the adapter in the vertical position for a neat appearance on the gun. Note that use of this setscrew will mar the surface of the tank block, but that may not matter as you'll always want to leave it in place!

NOTE. PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE.
Due to the variation in start points of the factory Tank Block threads, this Adapter will probably not snug completely tight against the Tank Block in the correct vertical position. The product is designed to be used NOT snugged tight against the Tank Block, but secured by the set screw in the tightest position where the Adapter is vertical. This can lead to a small gap between the Adapter and the Tank Block. This gap can be filled with a suitable O ring (eg size 116, not supplied), if the gap is deemed objectionable. If you cannot accept this inherent limitation in the design, please do not purchase.
