The BAM B3-1 is a single-shot, military-style, side-lever air rifle with a folding stock. It's a great plinker for fun shooting.

Rumor has it that the B3-1 was used for the basic training of recruits to the Chinese Army - and that rumor may be right, because this is the nearest thing you will find to an AK-47 air rifle. The BAM factory started as a manufacturer of military rifles - the B3-1 is a reminder that they haven't forgotten how to make them.

Compared to an AK-47, the B3-1 has a huge number of similarities. It looks similar, and is about the same size and weight (this is a heavy air rifle). The B3-1 is built like a truck, like the AK-47. It has an excellent folding stock that just may be straight off the AK-47 production line with a pull length that is just too short for most adults, it has a very similar front sight and has a similarly awful trigger pull. The B3-1 also has quite a kick for it power. It accepts the standard Chicom AK-47/SKS sling too.

This is a "rough and tough" air rifle that's surprisingly accurate and has much potential for improvement using the accessory kits available from Archer Airguns. Get one and try it - you'll be pleased you did!
