The QB58 is a new cousin of the QB57 Deluxe in a conventional wooden stock format. Factory claims for muzzle velocity are 750 fps in .177 and 590 fps in .22 caliber. It has integral scope grooves and features a scope stop to handle the effects of recoil.

It balances well for shooting and features a well-shaped solid wood checkered stock. The fiber optic sights are adjustable for windage and elevation by adjusting the rear sight. The side lever cocking mechanism includes an excellent automatic "anti-bear trap" device that is released by a plunger under the forend.

The QB58 is solidly constructed in the traditional manner from blued steel and wood, with just a few plastic parts. It works best with open sights, a red dot sight or short scope and mount such as the Leapers 6 x 32 "Bugbuster" sold here. Longer scopes are not advised as they will tend to make loading difficult.
