This Tune Kit for Benjamin Marauder and Armada air rifles has been specially developed by Archer Airguns.
This product does NOT WORK with Marauder Pistols.
Test results show the potential for the following improvements compared to the regular factory tune:
In .177 caliber: UP TO TWICE the number of consistent shots (with an Extreme Spread of 40 FPS). Plus an increase in Muzzle Energy.
In .22 caliber: UP TO 100 FPS INCREASE IN MUZZLE VELOCITY (20% increase in Muzzle Energy). Plus 20% more consistent shots.
In .25 caliber: Up to 5 - 10% increase in Muzzle Energy. Plus 10% increase in shot count.
It's deceptively simple, yet gives any UNREGULATED Marauder or Armada air rifle a flatter shot string. This allows a more aggressive tune to be applied to the gun, making it possible to increase power and/or shot count. It works with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 guns in all calibers, .177 cal, .22 and .25 caliber.
The simple tuning instructions allow - for the first time - these air rifles to be tuned without a chronograph - although better results will undoubtedly be achieved with the assistance of a chrony.
Because it requires no permanent modification to your air rifle - unlike installing a regulator - this Tune Kit will not invalidate the factory warranty. It's also extremely simple and completely reversible. This means that access is still possible to adjust the striker and hammer spring settings - or to de-gas the gun- simply by temporarily removing the Tube Plug.
Last - but not least - it eliminates that pesky puff of air in the face that so many Marauders generate when being fired. No owner of an unregulated Marauder or Armada air rifle
This kit includes the following items:
- 1 External-Fit Tube Plug
- 1 O ring for the External Fit Tube Plug
- 1 Internal Tube Plug
- 1 Transfer Port Adjustment Jam Screw (this white plastic part is a spare as the tiny factory part is easily lost)
- 1 5/64-Inch Allen Wrench for the Transfer Port Setscrews
- Simple, yet comprehensive, installation instructions and basic tune settings
Note that only ONE Tube Plug is to be installed. The External-Fit Tube Plug fits the Gen 1 Marauder and is easier to install. However, it needs some modification to the stock to fit Gen 2 models. The Internal-Fit Tube Plug will fit both Gen 1 and Gen 2 models with no stock mods, however it requires an Allen wrench to install and remove. Both Tube Plugs are included to give you a choice.
This Tune Kit does not fit the Marauder pistol. Testing indicates that it makes no difference to the performance of regulated guns - although it will still stop that irritating puff of air in the face!
